Safety
Protection where it matters most
Your Granvia comes with the safety you expect in a well-appointed people mover. Every Granvia comes fully equipped with Toyota Safety Sense[S1] technology including Lane Departure Alert with steering assist, Pre-Collision Safety system with pedestrian and daytime cyclist detection, Road Sign Assist (speed signs only), Automatic High Beam and High Speed Active Cruise Control.
All-round safety
The Granvia has nine SRS airbags, including curtain shields for protection at the side windows when you need it most.
Child seat ready
In the rear, four of the seats have three ISOFIX harness points to help secure your youngest passengers when they’re in a safety seat or booster chair.
Reversing guides
With reversing guides overlayed on the rear camera[S1] to help direct you, reversing the Granvia is a breeze.
Road Sign Assist
The Granvia recognises certain Australian speed limit signs and displays them for the driver[S1].
Rear-Cross Traffic Alert
When you reverse out of a parking bay the Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)[S1] uses radar to detect approaching vehicles before you can see them.
Lane Departure Alert
Lane Departure Alert (LDA)[S1] vibrates the steering wheel as well as displaying warnings to the driver if you deviate from the lane you’re travelling in.
Parking sensors
The Granvia comes with front and rear parking sensors[S1] as standard to make parking simple with on-screen guides to help you.
Digital rearview mirror
Driving with a full load of passengers can be tricky, especially when you can’t see what’s behind you. So the digital rearview mirror[S1] on the Granvia VX is linked to a rear camera and gives you a greater field of vision than a standard glass mirror.

The Granvia comes with MacPherson struts and multi-link suspension, providing outstanding ride quality and cabin noise levels. To improve fuel efficiency the Stop & Start system automatically stops the engine at traffic lights or in congestion and restarts as soon as the brake pedal is released.
